Clinical Operations Manager

Dr. Randhawa is a proud veterinary school graduate with a deep passion for animal care and clinical excellence. He completed his clinical year at the Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine, where he further developed his clinical skills and commitment to high-quality veterinary medicine. As the Clinical Operations Manager, Dr. Randhawa plays a key role in ensuring the clinic runs efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of patient care. His responsibilities include overseeing daily clinical operations, coordinating with veterinarians and technicians to ensure smooth workflow, monitoring case management, assisting with diagnostics such as blood collection and radiographs when needed, managing medical inventory and vaccine supplies, and ensuring medications are stocked and used before expiration. He also helps supervise the clinical team, supports technicians in case management, reviews treatment plans and discharge instructions, and works to maintain an organized and effective environment for both staff and patients. Dr. Randhawa is known for his compassionate approach to animals and his dedication to supporting both pets and the veterinary team that cares for them. He believes that efficient teamwork and strong clinical leadership are essential for delivering excellent veterinary care. Outside the clinic, Dr. Randhawa enjoys reading, biking through nature, and writing whenever inspiration strikes.

Dr. Sandhu has been in small animal practice since 1998. He graduated from Punjab Veterinary College, India. Then he completed a one-year clinical rotation program in Alabama. Dr. Sandhu completed his Masters in preventive medicine and parasitology in 2000. He is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Chicago Veterinary Medical Association. Dr Sandhu has a special interest and experience in preventive health care, internal medicine, geriatric health and screening, routine and complicated surgery. He also has special interest in Laser Surgery and orthopaedic surgery. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife & kids.

Dr. CC grew up observing her father, Dr. Fernando Falcis, practice Veterinary Medicine. Graduating from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008, Dr. CC has been working at St. Francis Veterinary Hospital under the tutelage of her father. In October 2013, Dr. CC took over the practice from her father, continuing the family practice of compassionate veterinary care. Dr. CC is a general practitioner interested in all aspects of Veterinary Medicine. She works hard to make sure her patients have the best care. When out of the office, Dr. CC enjoys spending time with his husband, young son, 3 cats, and energetic dog.

Meet Dr. Hani M. Korani: Your Partner in Surgical Excellence Dr. Hani M. Korani is a board-certified small animal surgeon (Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons – Small Animal) dedicated to providing advanced surgical care with a collaborative and compassionate approach. Through his mobile practice, H&M VetSurg, Dr. Korani brings the expertise and capabilities of a specialty surgical center directly to St. Francis Veterinary Hospital in Daly City. His mission is simple: to make specialist-level surgery accessible, less stressful for patients, and more integrated for primary care veterinarians—ensuring a seamless circle of care for every animal. The Journey to Surgical Specialization Dr. Korani’s path to becoming a surgical specialist was driven by a passion for the intricate mechanics of the body and the profound impact that skilled surgery can have on an animal’s quality of life. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from the School of Veterinary Medicine at Cairo University, Egypt. Following graduation, he completed a demanding one-year rotating internship in medicine and surgery at Tuskegee University Veterinary Teaching Hospital, where he gained broad experience in all facets of veterinary care. With a clear focus on surgery, Dr. Korani was then selected for a rigorous three-year surgical residency at the North Carolina State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital (NCSU VTH). This intensive program provided him with advanced training in orthopedic, soft tissue, neurologic, and oncologic surgery under the mentorship of world-renowned specialists. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Korani successfully passed the rigorous examination to become a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (DACVS). This board certification represents the highest level of specialization in the field, a distinction held by only a small percentage of veterinarians. After working in large specialty hospitals, he founded H&M VetSurg to bring that same level of care to a more personal, collaborative setting. H&M VetSurg at St. Francis Veterinary Hospital H&M VetSurg serves as an extension of the St. Francis clinical team. Dr. Korani utilizes state-of-the-art equipment and specialized surgical instruments to perform a wide array of advanced procedures, including: Orthopedic Surgery: Fracture repair, TPLO for cranial cruciate ligament disease, joint procedures, and corrective osteotomies. Soft Tissue Surgery: Complex oncological (cancer) surgery, advanced abdominal and thoracic procedures, and reconstructive surgery. Neurological Surgery: Spinal procedures for intervertebral disc disease (IVDD). By providing in-house specialty surgery at St. Francis Veterinary Hospital, H&M VetSurg ensures that pets receive expert attention in the familiar, stress-reducing environment of their primary care hospital—optimizing both convenience and recovery.
